Welcome aboard for a day at sea filled with fun, excitement, wildlife, local culture, and local seafood culinary.

We start this adventure cruising gently past the beautiful Oslo waterfront, slowly putting the city behind us before we pick up the pace and aim south for the outer reaches of the Oslo Fjord.

During this 2 hour leg of the journey we are likely to make some wildlife encounters, and get an up-close look at the many seafront homes and cottages as we follow the shoreline towards Salty Beard's secret lobster pot spots just south of Jeløya, where the Oslofjord opens up and reveals the horizon. 

Your skipper will have placed the pots a few days in advance, and today hopefully they will return a good catch. Once we have pulled our pots, we will make our way to a nearby seaside location for an outdoor meal with the freshest seafood imaginable - a true seafood culinary feast. Sometimes our own catch may be sufficient, but to be on the safe side your skipper will have prepared a locally sourced seafood spread.

The precise location will vary, depending on the preferences of the group and conditions of the day. We hope for sun, but plan for rain - so all you need to think is appropriate clothing for an autumn day out.
