Step into a national postcard on this full-day winter tour from Rovaniemi to the peaceful beauty of Riisitunturi National Park — a place where trees bend under thick layers of snow and silence feels like part of the landscape.

Explore the snowy forest on snowshoes, making it easier and more enjoyable to move through the soft snow. With no rush and no crowds, you can enjoy the fresh Arctic air, beautiful winter scenery, and the peaceful atmosphere of Lapland in a small group.

Halfway through the adventure, stop at a cozy cottage and warm up by the fire. Enjoy a traditional outdoor lunch with grilled sausages, warm drinks, marshmallows, and snacks. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. As a special Finnish treat, taste traditional leipäjuusto, also known as squeaky cheese, served with sweet cloudberry jam.

Whether you join for the adventure, the quiet surroundings, or the unforgettable views, this tour offers an authentic way to experience Lapland’s winter nature at its best.

Itinerary

Meeting at the Lapland Royal Adventures office. You will meet our guide at our office and gear up for the snowy adventure with winter overalls and snow shoes

Transfer to Riisitunturi National Park with our comorftable minivan we will drive to Riisitunturi National park in Posio with our comortable minivan. The drive takes approximately 2,5 hours

The hike begis! We will embark to our snowy hike and enjoy the magical scenery. In midway we will have a open fire barbecue to get some enegy before we head back to the starting point and drive back to Rovaniemi city

Transfer back to Rovaniemi city

If your pick-up address is more than 11 km from our office, we charge €50 per direction for transportation. Proof of the child’s age must be provided upon request.
