Slow down and experience a classic Lapland winter tradition: ice fishing on a frozen lake, surrounded by snow, stillness, and the fresh Arctic air.

We’ll take you to a peaceful lakeside spot where you’ll learn how to drill your own fishing hole, set your line, and wait for a bite — just like the locals do. Whether you catch a fish or simply enjoy the calm atmosphere, this experience is all about connecting with Lapland’s nature.

During the activity, warm up with a hot drink and enjoy traditional Karelian pasties, a popular Finnish delicacy. Take time to relax, share stories with your guide, and soak in the silence and beauty of the winter landscape.

Itinerary

Meeting point At Maakuntakatu 31 Lapland Royal Adventures Office, or pick up. Changing clothes and transfer to the activity location.

Activity Itinerary. The activity begins with a transfer, followed by a 20-minute drive to the ice fishing location, where the fishing experience will start.

Transfer back to the city center after the activity.

  • · If your accommodation is 11km – 30km from our office and you wish us to pick you up,  the additional fee for pick up is 50€ per booking. Please contact our sales to arrange the pick up
