Experience the best of Cairo and Luxor on a private 5-day journey through more than 5,000 years of Egyptian history.

Your adventure begins in Cairo, where you will stand before the Great Pyramids of Giza, enjoy a traditional camel ride from the panoramic desert area, and explore the Grand Egyptian Museum with your private guide. You will then travel beyond the famous pyramids to discover the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, ancient Memphis, and the remarkable pyramids of Dahshur, followed by a relaxing lunch in the Egyptian countryside.

The journey continues through the many layers of Cairo's history. Visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, explore the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and its Royal Mummies, and discover the historic churches of Coptic Cairo, including Abu Serga and the Hanging Church. End your Cairo experience with time to explore the historic streets of Khan El Khalili.

You will then fly from Cairo to Luxor, where our private driver will welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel. In Luxor, discover the magnificent Karnak Temple, walk along the historic Avenue of the Sphinxes, and explore Luxor Temple on the East Bank of the Nile.

Your final sightseeing day takes you to Luxor's West Bank and the legendary Valley of the Kings, followed by the Temple of Hatshepsut and the impressive Medinet Habu Temple. Enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch and, if you wish, visit a trusted local workshop featuring traditional Egyptian crafts and alabaster.

On your final day, your private driver will transfer you from your Luxor hotel to Luxor International Airport for your flight back to Cairo International Airport.

Stop 1 | Citadel of Saladin & Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Begin your day at the historic Citadel of Saladin, dramatically positioned above Cairo.Explore the Citadel and visit the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali, famous for its Ottoman-inspired architecture, large central dome, and elegant minarets.Your guide will explain the history of the Citadel and its importance to medieval Cairo.

Stop 2 | National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).The museum takes you through different chapters of Egypt's long history, allowing you to see how Egyptian civilization developed across thousands of years.One of the major highlights is the Royal Mummies Hall, where you can see the preserved remains of ancient Egyptian rulers.
