Breathtaking tour to the heart of Cairo with the mixed heritage of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Early in the morning, we will pick you up and drive to the Citadel of Saladin, the seat of government for nearly 700 years and the main landmark that represents the medieval Islamic era. We will stop by the most beautiful mosques in Egypt -Alabaster Mosque and the mosque of Sultan Nasser Ben Qalawon. You will even get a chance to visit several museums such as the military museum and the National police museum. Then we move up to the highest point in Cairo where you can see the city of Cairo from the top of Saladin Citadel.
At the Coptic Cairo, we will take you to Hanging Church which was built on an ancient Roman fortress-Babylon Fortress. While we are there we will pass by Cavern Church which dates back to the 4th century. From the Jewish heritage, we will explore the 1140-year-old Ibraham Ben-Ezra Synagogue.
Before we drop you back at your hotel, we will take you on a traditional shopping tour to Khan El Khalili bazaar and walk on the oldest street in Islamic Cairo Al-Moez Street.
