Kiyomizudera is a Buddhist temple famous throughout Japan, founded, according to legend, in 778 at a waterfall on the slope of Mount Otova.
Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto is one of the most beautiful places in Japan! Or maybe all over the world. The scarlet tori corridors of Fushimi Inari climb the mountain in the rays of sunset, and they are guarded by the mysterious kitsune foxes, messengers of the goddess Inari.
The three-story Kinkakuji Temple or the Golden Pavilion is a repository of Buddhist relics on the territory of the Rokuonji temple complex in the Japanese city of Kyoto. The Buddhist temple began to be called the Golden Pavilion because it is covered with gold leaf, on top of which a layer of protective varnish is applied. Kinkakuji Temple is famous as an architectural monument of Japanese culture of the early 14th century and fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape.
Ryoanji Temple houses Japan's most famous kare-sansui (dry landscape) Zen rock garden. Founded in 1450 by Katsumoto Hosokawa, the temple grounds also include an interesting forest garden and pond.
