Jvari monastery is a VI century monastery in honor of the holy cross, built on a mountaintop above the town of Mtskheta. Jvari means "cross" in Georgian. Today the territory of the temple is a functioning monastery.
Mtskheta is one of the oldest cities in Georgia, the administrative center of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti historical region. The city is located at the intersection of ancient trade routes, 20 kilometers north of the capital.
Uplitsikhe cave city is a very ancient cave city dating back to the 2nd-1st century B.C. It is believed that the caves were used until the 19th century. Uplistsikhe has preserved the remains of architectural and religious structures built over several millennia.
Visiting a winery. During a tour to a private winery, which successfully sells its products in Spain and Portugal, you will have a great opportunity to taste 6 types of wine (collection + different years), chacha, local national snacks and cheese.
Lunch-Dinner in the Valley at Villa Salty Garden A secluded spot overlooking the Kazbeg Mountain and Lake Bazeleti. The doors of this beautiful villa will be open exclusively for your company. It will be just you, your guide (who is also the owner of this villa), and three musicians. The musicians perform polyphonic Georgian music (chonguri, guitar) they will entertain you during dinner and create a pleasant atmosphere of a traditional Georgian party.
