Explore Lasithi Plateau and It's 15 spectacular panoramic villages set in the Mountains with local guide. Lasithi Plateau is known worldwide for two things that you are going to visit in this small group tour, for It's Wind Mills and Zeus Cave.

There were about 12.000 - 13.000 wind mills pumping groundwater, and It was the first and the largest wind farm in Europe.

Zeus Cave is located at an altitude of 1025 m with fantastic stalagmites and stalactites, where according to the mythology, the father of the Greek ancient Gods, Zeus, was born.

On the way to Lasithi Plateau, You will visit the Aposelemis Dam and the underwater village of Sfendyli, picturesque village of Krasi with It's monumental of the nature, Platanus Tree , and if you are lucky, You can watch the bearded vulture (Gypaetus Barbatus)

Entering the Lasithi Plateau, we will stop to visit the ruins of 24 stone flour mills and we will relax for a while and take some pictures from breathtaking panoramic view.

After visiting Lasithi Plateau, on the way back to your accommodation, we will stop in Kera village to have traditional Cretan lunch in family taverna and our last stop will be at the Olive Oil factory, where you will learn all the process of olive oil making and will taste different extra virgin oil, produced by the factory.
