This Authentic Maasai Village Camping Experience takes you from Moshi to the clear turquoise Kikuletwa Hot Springs for a swim, then to the Maasai Boma in Kambi ya Chokaa, where you'll explore village life, join traditional dances, camp overnight, and enjoy meals with the Maasai family.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1

    We start at 09:00 in the morning from Moshi heading to the Hot spring, Its takes nearly 1 hour and half from Moshi to the Kikuletwa hot springs, road take us through beautiful landscape. You will enjoy baobab trees, Acacia trees and sugar cane plantation on the way to the Kikuletwa hot springs for swimming in natural pool. In the early afternoon we will leave the Kikuletwa hot springs and continue to the (Maasai Boma) for the night, which is near the Kikuletwa area. It takes approximately 25 minutes to reach Maasai Boma. Once we arrive there, you will have a opportunity to walk around the Maasai village and watch the Maasai cattles and sunset. I will assist you and tell you about the Maasai culture. The Maasai warriors and women will welcome you with the traditional songs, dance and jumping and you will join them and dance together, well camping there and enjoy the good moment of the full moon and bonfire in the night with the Maasai family.

  • Day 2

    The next day after breakfast our guests leave the village around 10am and get back to Moshi which is around 2 hours to get to. There our trip will be finished. We say goodbye to our guests and welcome them back in the future again.
