On this customized tour you will visit the pagan temple of Garni, Symphony of Stones Gorge and Geghard Monastery Complex. The first stop will be at the arch of Yeghishe Charents, then the temple of the Sun God Mitra Garni, the only pagan temple in Armenia. At the next stop you will be surprised by the splendor of the 13th century Geghard Monastery Complex, partially carved in the rock, which is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. You will also enjoy the beauty of the "Symphony of Stones" gorge. These are basalt rocks in the form of straight pipes and about 100m high. These rocks are formed by the abrupt solidification of lava: this shape is energetically advantageous. The gorge got its name because of its remarkable resemblance to a church organ. Especially many of these rocks are in the Azat River Gorge, which is listed as a UNESCO site.
