Tromsø: Autumn Hike with local guides

Escape the city and experience the colourful autumn landscapes of Kvaløya on an easy, scenic hike just 25 minutes from Tromsø.

After pickup from the city centre, your guide will choose the best hiking location based on the day’s weather and conditions. The walk to the summit normally takes around 1–1.5 hours, with great time for breaks and photo stops, and rewards you with spectacular views of mountains, fjords and the surrounding Arctic landscape.

This is not a demanding mountain hike. It is designed for anyone who wants to spend time outdoors, enjoy beautiful nature and reach an impressive viewpoint at a comfortable pace. Hiking poles are available if needed.

At the top, your guide will serve warm drinks and local snacks while you take in the views. Professional photos from the experience are also included, so you can focus on enjoying the moment.

Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way—reindeer and sea eagles are often seen in the area. The full experience lasts approximately 4.5 hours, including transport from Tromsø.
