Children in Pattaya

4 experiences Thailand

A family day in Pattaya assembles from four ready-made blocks, all of them paced for children. Underwater World, the city's only aquarium, takes about three hours: glass tunnels with rays and sharks gliding overhead, plus open pools where you can look at the residents close up. The dolphinarium runs two-hour sessions, and after the show you are allowed to swim beside the dolphins and take photos.

For a longer day there is Nong Nooch garden — the largest botanical garden in Southeast Asia: a sightseeing bus loops the grounds, between stops you walk past orchids, topiary and a scaled-down Stonehenge, and an elephant show is part of the programme. Four hours, 48 dollars. The longest option is the six-hour trip to Coral Island with snorkelling and lunch on the beach: the boat takes half an hour and the water by the shore is shallow and calm.

GetExperience lists 4 family programmes in Pattaya, from 40 to 48 dollars. Pages show child rates, age notes, duration and the hotel transfer both ways. Pick a date and family line-up in the calendar, pay online by card and the voucher lands in your inbox.
