Enjoy Armenia's most fascinating attractions! Visit Khor Virap, Armenia's most famous pilgrimage site, Noravank Monastery, Hin Areni wine factory, and enjoy the ancient cave Birds-Cave, also known as Areni-1. Noravank is the monastery complex and its Church of the Holy Mother of God, Armenia's only two-story religious structure. Passing through a narrow road surrounded by numerous caves, you will come across the monastery, which blends in with the natural surroundings and is enshrined with pleasing architectural solutions and fabulous embellishments. It is an important example of Armenian architecture from the 13th century. Surb Karapet church, Surb Grigor chapel with a vaulted hall, and Surb Astvatsatsin, also known as the Church of the Holy Mother of God, are all located in Noravank.

Following that, you will partake in wine tasting while visiting one of Armenia's oldest settlements, also known for its wines. Vayots Dzor and Areni village have been the cradles of Armenian winemaking for millennia, and you will visit Hin Areni winery, which features unique, indigenous Armenian grape varieties. At the winery, you will learn how historical winemaking traditions are combined with cutting-edge modern equipment and taste the local wine. Finally, you'll arrive at the cave near Areni village and on the Arpa River's left bank. It consists of three halls and covers an area of approximately 500 square meters, much of which has yet to be explored. Metal knives, fruit seeds, grain residues, rope, dishes, clothing, dried grapes, and plums were discovered in the cave, which dates back to 4,200-3,500 BC. The world's oldest leather shoe and women's skirt from 3,900 BC were also found there. The cave itself dates back more than 5,500 years. The world's first winery was located in the same area, dating back to the 4th millennium BC.
