Yacht Charter and the Camel Park near Lefkara 2026: GetExperience

Peyia sits on the slope above Coral Bay, and everything of interest here begins where the asphalt ends. The main goal of the trips is the Baths of Adonis: a waterfall in a narrow gorge with several cascades and a pool beneath them where you can swim. The place is wild, with no promenade or café nearby, and the track to it is unpaved, which is why people go by quad bike and buggy.

Along the way the rest of western Cyprus opens up. From above you see Coral Bay with its cove between two headlands, further north the sea caves cut by waves into soft limestone, and the start of the Akamas peninsula, where an ordinary car can no longer pass. The village of Peyia itself is small: a square with plane trees, a church and a few tavernas that locals use more than visitors.

Practical notes. The route is dusty: light clothes are better left behind, sunglasses are essential, and a phone belongs in a closed pocket. The stones at the waterfall are slippery, so closed shoes are needed. In summer departures are in the morning — the open slope is hard going after midday. Driving a quad requires a category B licence; a passenger needs none.
