On the guided walking tour around Dubrovnik, you will stroll along Stradun, the main street of the city, and the surrounding walls and fortresses. Historically known as Ragusa, Dubrovnik is a city on the Adriatic Sea and one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the region due to its outstanding medieval architecture and fortified old town. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, and its history goes back to the 7th century and to the era of the Byzantine Empire. The guide will take you to the Franciscan friary that belongs to the Order of the Friars Minor and also features a church, a large library and a pharmacy. You will visit the Dominican Monastery, the Rector's Palace, the Assumption Cathedral, as well as the Maritime and the Ethnographic Museums, admiring the architecture and learning about the rich history of the city and its sights.
