Canals of Bruges Private Boat Tour
Your visit to Bruges wouldn't be complete without taking a tour around the canals. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking captain, also your guide, setting on a 30-minute private boat trip along the remains of the city’s medieval waterways. Bruges is one of the most beautiful medieval cities in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will see the little Venice of the North with its medieval streets and red brick houses. From the water, you will see numerous sights, including the Belfry of Bruges, a medieval bell tower in the city center, the Church of Our Lady that dates back to the 13th century and the Poortersloge, also known as the Burgher's Lodge, the former meeting place for the richer and more important members of the Bruges society. You will pass the Beguinage Bruges, the Bruges Franc castle, Gothic St Anne’s Church and the medieval Hospital of St. John. Along the way, you will encounter swans, the emblematic birds of Bruges that inhabit the canals.
