It was built around the 11th century and dedicated to Mahadewa, the God of Mount Batukaru. You will visit the largest and most picturesque rice paddies in Indonesia, Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. A well-known tourist spot in Bali with a view of a beautiful rice terrace, this place is excellent for nature enthusiasts that can boast vast rice fields, fresh air and beautiful scenery. You will become a guest at a Balinese house and meet a local family, discovering the way locals proceed with their daily lives and appreciating their customs. The traditional Balinese house refers to a vernacular building that follows strict ancient architectural principles. You will see how these houses are in harmony with the law of the cosmos of Balinese Hinduism, while they feature a blend of Hindu and Buddhist beliefs, as well as Austronesian animism.
