The semi private tour offers you the highest level of VIP comfort, as you travel with a small group of like-minded companions and an expert English-speaking tour leader. He will be nearby to answer any curiosities you may have throughout the journey.
First, you will visit the nearby town of Siena, an ancient city with picturesque streets and a rich history. In fact, Siena’s historical center is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Here, a local guide will meet our small group to explain the most important sites, including Piazza del Campo and the majestic Siena Gothic Cathedral. At the end of the guided tour, you can choose to enter the Cathedral on your own to witness the incredible sculptures, mosaic floors, and gold decorations.
After a short drive through the enchanting Chianti countryside, you will stop in a small, family-owned winery between Siena and San Gimignano. Enjoy an exquisite lunch of Tuscan appetizers, pasta, and desserts paired with local wines in the lovely scenery of this estate. You also have the opportunity to purchase some bottles of locally produce wines.
Next, you will head to San Gimignano, also known as the “Town of Towers”, as it is most famous for its fourteen medieval skyscrapers which still remain perfectly preserved. Enjoy exploring the cobblestone streets, taking in the views of the green countryside, and meandering through the artisanal shops. Your tour leader will share the fascinating, medieval history of San Gimignano and point out the best view points.
Your last stop of the day will be in Pisa, a must-see for anyone visiting Italy! Your tour leader will show you to the Square of Miracles, where you can find the iconic Leaning Tower. It is truly breathtaking to see the bright, white buildings in contrast to the green grass. Spend some time snapping pictures of the famous Italian symbol!
After your full day visiting three of Tuscany’s highlights, you will undoubtedly fall in love with this region's beauty and charm.

Itinerario

Piazzale Montelungo, Florence. Meet your fellow travelers and the tour leader at the starting point in Florence (Piazzale Montelungo) and find a comfortable place on your bus. As you pass through the rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves of the Chianti region enjoy the anecdotes shared by your tour leader. With great passion and deep knowledge of the territory, your guide will make your trip entertaining and interesting!

Siena, Tuscany. Built upon hills, Siena is likely Italy's loveliest medieval city whose historic centre is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Follow your local guide through the winding, narrow cobbled streets and discover the magnificent architecture from the 13th Century.

Piazza del Campo, Siena. Our guided tour starts from Piazza del Campo, which is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful squares in Italy thanks to its architecture, the Mangia tower and its unique shell shape. Piazza del Campo is the civic heart of Siena, and the place where the famous Palio horse race takes place twice annually.

Cathedral Square, Siena. Our guided tour ends in front of the impressive Siena Cathedral, a stunningly beautiful building of Gothic Romanesque architecture.

San Gimignano, Tuscany. After lunch, we move to San Gimignano, the little Manhattan of the Middle Ages. The numerous medieval towers form an unforgettable skyline and offer an impressive view of the town from the surrounding valley.

Piazza della Cisterna, San Gimignano. Head to Piazza della Cisterna, at the heart of San Gimignano’s historic old town, and taste the world-famous and award-winning gelato from Gelateria Dondoli.

Pisa, Tuscany. The last stop of your memorable day trip is Pisa with its uniquely beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987.

Piazza dei Miracoli, Pisa. Before heading back to Florence, don't forget to take a funny posing photo "holding up" the Leaning Tower of Pisa! The admission fee to the Leaning Tower of Pisa is not included, it costs approximately €20 per person. Children under 8 years old are not allowed to climb the Tower.

Piazza del Duomo, Pisa. The square is dominated by four great religious edifices: the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistry, the Campanile, commonly known as the Leaning Tower, and the Camposanto Monumentale

Piazzale Montelungo, Florence. At the end of the day, reunite with your travel companions and return to Florence in the late afternoon.
