Full description

This tour will take you all over the valley and visit over 5 villages located near or around Central Antigua. We will visit places like a local traditional textile museum, Jade Factory, a chocolate factory, and visit the first cathedral built in Central America in the year 1534.  You will have many aerial views of the city, birds eye views of the volcanoes and a close encounter with local Mayan villagers that live around Antigua. You will drive through the cobblestone streets, paved roads, To finish the tour off, visit a local restaurant in the village of San Pedro El Panorama that serves guatemalan dishes.

Itinerary

09:30 a.m. Paperwork, payments, delivery of vehicle

10:00 a.m. Leave Hotel/Agency head to San Antonio Aguas Calientes

10:30 a.m. Arrive at the plaza of San Antonio Aguas Calientes and go to the local museum

11:00 a.m. Leave San Antonio Aguas Calientes and go to Ciudad Vieja

11:15 a.m. Arrive at Central Park of Ciudad Vieja and visit Cathedral

11:30 a.m. Leave Ciudad Vieja and go to Santa Maria de Jesus via San Pedro Las Huertas

12:15 p.m. Arrive at Santa Maria de Jesus

01:00 p.m. Leave Santa Maria de Jesus and go to Earth Lodge at El Hato

01:40 p.m. Arrive at Earth Lodge

03:00 p.m. Leave Earth Lodge head to El Cerro de La Cruz

03:15 p.m. Arrive at Cerro de La Cruz

03:30 p.m. Leave Cerro de la Cruz towards starting point
