8-day Algarve Diving Tour in Portimão, Portugal

The Algarve is known to have the best beach sites in Portugal. The 8-day program of the tour includes 4 days of diving, with diving areas at the Ocean Revival Park and Sagres and base locations at Algarve, Portimao and Praia da Rocha. You will dive 8 times overall, as well as have time to go to the beach and visit places where tourism is rare and diving is exceptional. On the tour, it will be possible to adjust the schedule and the list of locations.

Day 1. You will arrive at Faro Airport, heading to Portimão, your base camp. To allow you an independent and quiet stay, you will be provided with a car with a pre-programmed GPS, so you will drive around the Algarve and get to the diving locations with ease and comfort.

Day 2-3. For the first 2 days of diving, you will come to Sagres. The frequent presence of Prince D. Henrique, "the Navigator", during the first days of Atlantic navigation and the discovery of the African coast as far as the Gulf of Guinea has forever linked this picturesque fishing port with the Discoveries. After you dive to explore one of the shipwrecks, the Torvore, and the beautiful Cathedral cave, you will visit a villa and have lunch, trying the local cuisine at one of the restaurants in the area.

Day 4. You will spend a leisurely day on a beach in Praia da Rocha.

Day 5-6. Diving at the Ocean Revival Park, you will have the chance to see 4 ships, including the Fragata Comandante Hermenegildo Capelo. Full of marine life, sunken ships will present a tremendous underwater spectacle. 

Day 7. Once again, you will spend the full day on a beach, relaxing and swimming.

Day 8. This will be the departure day.

Duration: 8 days and 7 nights. Departure: daily. Includes: a guide (diving instructor), wet suits and equipment, accommodation 8 days and 7 nights in a 3-star hotel or apartment in Portimao or Praia da Rocha (room for 2), car with GPS for 5 days (free for using during the 4 days of diving and for going from the hotel to the diving site). Minimum 2 people.

Cancellation Policy: 30% non-refundable deposit. 100% cancellation fee will be charged if booking is cancelled 5 days or less prior to the event. 90% cancellation fee will be charged if booking is cancelled 5-14 days prior to the event. 50% cancellation fee will be charged if booking is cancelled 15-29 days prior to the event.
