Itinerary

Afonso de Albuquerque Square. Stroll through the beautiful square dedicated to the first Deputy King of the Indies, the garden overlooks the Palacio de Belem which houses the Presidency of the Republic.

Rua de Belém. Discover the fascinating story of how these typical cakes, now world-famous, were born in this small shop in Belem.

Monasterio dos Jeronimos. Enter into a masterpiece of Manueline style and UNESCO heritage, built to celebrate the return of Vasco da Gama from the Indies, and the birth of the Portuguese Empire.

Torre de Belem. Visit the most famous monument in Lisbon. An ancient tower built in Manueline style that was once in the middle of the river and served to control the ships that went towards Lisbon.

Padrão dos Descobrimentos. Meet the monument located in a prominent position on the right bank of the Tagus River, erected on the occasion of the Portuguese World Expo to honor the historical figures involved in the Portuguese discoveries.

Fábrica Sant'Anna. Enter into one of the oldest factories of ‘Azulejos’ in Lisbon. The typical colored tiles are still made in an artisanal manner. Watch the craftsmen at work and learn about the techniques of realization. Visit the showroom to admire the finished crafts.

LX Factory. Enter in a former newspaper factory turned into a creative laboratory of art and design. The most underground place in Lisbon with its artists' workshops and the Livraria Ler Devagar, considered one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world.
