Older than many famous churches and cathedrals in Europe and one of the most ornate buildings in Kotor, it was damaged and then reconstructed after several earthquakes. Featuring Romanesque architecture, frescoes from the 14th century and a relief of saints in gold and silver, the cathedral contains a great collection of artifacts and a treasury of immense value.
