Get to know 3 of the best places in the south of Mexico City:

1. Starting with Coyoacan, where several of the most important artists and historical figures in the country lived. You will have the option to see the house that Frida Kahlo lived in, this house-museum has been preserved and you will have access to the corners where the artist was born (choosing the "Frida Kahlo Museum Tickets" option).

2. Also, you will get to know the colorful floating gardens of Xochimilco, a place full of life and quiet where you will enjoy a ride in a trajinera (a type of flat-bottomed canoe).

3. Finally, you will visit one of the sites declared as Cultural Heritage of Humanity: Ciudad Universitaria of the Autonomous University of Mexico, known for its magnificent murals of Frida Kahlo's husband: Diego Rivera.

Itinerary

Begin your experience in the Coyoacán neighborhood, you can visit the Frida Kahlo Museum or walk through the Coyoacán Center to see the church of San Juan el Bautista, the house of Hernán Cortes, the monument to the foundation of the neighborhood and taste a traditional coffee if it is to your liking (1 to 2 hours are available for either of these two activities).

You will continue your experience on Lake Xochimilco, you will take a tour in a trajinera (a traditional boat); During the trip you will be able to understand what the natural environment was like in Mexico City more than 500 years ago and how the first settlers began to organize life in this region.
