Apart from the trip to the island, a glass bottom boat trip in Blue Bay will be included in the program. You will meet with the locals, taste some of the best street food of the island at Mahébourg Market and have a traditional Mauritian lunch in a fishing village at Nativ Lodge. In the afternoon, you will visit the Rault-Seneque family that has owned the Rault Biscuit Factory since 1870. You will learn about the production process of unique cassava biscuits, differently flavored cookies that are made in a traditional method. To complete the tour, you will drive on the East Coast Coastal Road, visiting the ruins of Frederik Hendrik Fort, the Hollander's Tower and the cannons at Old Grand Port.
