Lisbon to Porto

The walled city of Óbidos, In the heart of the west side of Portugal surrounded by hills, emerges on a top of a cliff. Walking by the streets we face each step on the way with remains of ancient cvilizations. From each corner, each garden, each facade from the old medina to the gothic and the renaissance and barroque. This town is an extense living working art. The old time heritage assimilated with the local cuture gives this town a unique feeling of Portugal.

The biggest Love history of Portugal is buried in the world heritage monument inside the town. With almost 1000 years this Gothic monument and the history of the place and it's importance in Portuguese history as the tombs of the two lovers it's a place not to be missed by anyone visiting Portugal.

The big waves of Nazare, unique of his kind in the world, have made this town world known. But Nazare is more than surf and waves. Before Our Lady of Fatima appears to the three young sheppards Nazare was the bigest pilmigrage place in Portugal. Vasco da Gama and Pedro Alvares Cabral were only onw of many coming here to pray before sailing in their discoveries. Come and discover why.

The best view over Porto it's from Gaia, in Serra do Pilar, the city facing Porto from the other side of the river.

We'll finish our 1st day with the drop-off in your hotel in Porto or Gaia.

Porto to Lisbon

We'll start from here our 1st Walking tour in Porto. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy the outside of the Cathedral while we park the car.

The famous Train station, considerated one of the most beautifull in the world, is covered with some parts of the Portuguese History in the walls.

We'll cross this famous street that connects the top of the city with downtown Porto.

The famous are in front of the river is the most appealing and enjoyable part of the city. You'll some time while we are going uphill to pick the car to pick you and take you to the top of the city for a small walking tour with "Clérigos, Lello and Carmo"

The famous Bookstore. The legend says that J.K. Rowling use this place as inpiration for Harry Potter Library. Usually there is a long line to go inside, it will be up to you if you want to wait. Our recommendation is to see from the outside. This is part of our second waling tour.

One of the famous symbols of Porto. This famous tower is close to Lello and Carmo and is part of our second walking tour.

This beatifull tile covered church is part of our second walking tour and is close to Lello and Clérigos. The world record curiosity "smallest house in the world" is here also. Again it will be optional to go inside

Another sightseeing tour with the van and most of the city is covered. We'll leave from Porto to Fatima

Ont the way back from Porto to Lisbon we'll stop to visit the world famous Shrine of Fatima where Our Lady of Rosary appears to the three young Sheppards.
