A cryptic letter leads you from the Theatre Royal to the Palace Pier — solving puzzles, following a love story, and exposing a royal curse that emptied the seas. Start anytime, play at your own pace, ~3 hours, ~3 km along the seafront.

Using the free Questo app, each landmark reveals the next chapter of an immersive story: a heartbroken fisherman, a vanished fiancée, a king's dark secret, and sea witches hiding in plain sight. Along the way you'll uncover real Brighton history — King George IV's scandalous royal connections, ABBA's 1974 Eurovision triumph at Brighton Dome, and the fishing families who once dried their nets backstage at the Theatre Royal.

Visit two world firsts: the oldest public aquarium and the oldest working electric railway on the planet. No guide, no fixed start time, no waiting around — just you, the app, and Brighton's streets.
