If you don't have time to arrange it before departure, the trains always have at least one restaurant/bar car and/or vending machines. Every wagon has its own toilet; we also suggest using it instead of queuing at the rail station. NOTE: Because of the small docks and heavy traffic, private boats cannot wait more than 3-5 minutes for your embarkation. Drivers require maximum punctuality to guides and guests. GLASS FACTORIES: Glass factories allow guests to visit their laboratories and arrange private, complimentary demonstrations. After the demonstration, they will lead you to their precious showroom, where they showcase their best artworks. If you are interested in purchasing large items, they can arrange safe shipping. The visit is worth it, even if you are not looking to buy anything, just to enjoy it. Pick-up time might vary depending on your location. **If you do not receive further messages, pick-up is confirmed at 7:00 am!** Please wait in your hotel lobby in Rome and inform the concierge that you are waiting for the driver. If you are staying in a B&B or an apartment, please wait on the street in front of the civic number. We suggest asking for an early breakfast if it is included in your hotel package. Upon arrival at Rome’s rail station, a staff member will meet you. On your arrival in Venice, a private local guide will be waiting at the end of your train's platform, holding a sign with your name. After the islands tour, you will reach St. Mark's Square to explore the city with your guide, before your final transfer to Venice rail station. On your return to Rome, the driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel. Please inform us, or at the latest your guide at the beginning of the tour, if you wish to take a gondola ride. In this case, please prepare €90,00 cash for the gondolier; one gondola can accommodate up to 5 passengers. If you enter museums, we remind you that big bags or backpacks and big umbrellas are not allowed (regular bags, backpacks, and foldable umbrellas are permitted). - Cover knees and shoulders inside every Church in Italy.
