A day's journey into the woods near Rome! We'll take the dogs on a hunt for truffles through historical places and beautiful natural settings. After our fun time, we will proceed to a lovely place for lunch, where we will learn how to make truffle dishes and enjoy them with a bottle of excellent wine.

Find all you need about truffles, from the dining room table to the kitchen. To the north of Rome, we will spend the day going through the forest in search of truffles with the assistance of trained dogs.

Truffles are a type of fungus that is found in the ground and can be eaten raw. They are frequently used as a flavoring agent in dishes, but they can also be consumed on their own. Truffles are great for the heart some studies suggest they may even help with weight loss! The most famous truffle-producing region is in France, but there are also truffle-producing regions in Italy. The most popular of these regions is Rome and its surrounding areas. The Romans used to eat this fungus so much that they even named their city after it!

On our truffle journey, we will go through parts of the country that are known for both their natural beauty and their historical importance. The trip will take place at one of two convenient venues close to Rome (switching locations up to a few days before the journey begins is possible). After the tour, we will travel to the guide's house for lunch, where we will learn how to make meals using truffles, and then we will have those dishes for lunch together with some outstanding wine. Your guide will prepare various meals for you, each of which will feature fresh truffles.
