Itinerary

The Castle Park is the biggest landscape garden in Austria, with an important history with roots going back to the 13th century. Laxenburg castle is one of the most impressive castles in Europe and the grounds are considered to be a showpiece and the heart of the city. All this area includes the castles, houses, grottos, temples and water elements. Note: Laxenburg Castle Park admission ticket is €3 per person

The Bratislava Castle is on a site that has been fortified for thousands of years. It’s a defendable stronghold and great lookout between the Alps and Carpathians since the 16th. century, when it had its apogee. No, after war damage and reconstruction, it’s a landmark to see because of what it represents more than its architecture. From the terrace you can see over the Danube and across the borders into Austria and Hungary, while the interior has exhibitions for the National Museum.

The castle has a museum that has become popular for serving as a film scene. The castle can be seen in films like Das Miracle in 1912, and the Netflix series The Witcher in 2019, plus many dozens more productions. During the tour, you will be able to see the castle’s kitchen with a table around which the building was constructed. You will also visit the chapel, the knights hall and the prince’s room with medieval furniture.
