On this private tour you will see real architectural gems that will take you back in time. You will visit the enchanting Kreuzenburg Castle, often used as a film location. You'll see the famous Moravian castles of Lednice and Valtice, connected by a stunning park full of smaller buildings. Then visit the wine town of Mikulov with its beautiful castle and surrounding countryside.

Itinerary

This city is located in the region of wine, in South Moravia, a few kilometers from Brno, on the border of the Czech Republic and Austria. It’s surrounded by vineyards, since it’s the warmest area in the country. The Wine Salon of the Czech Republic is a permanent degustation exhibit of the best Moravian and Bohemian wines, located in the basement of Valtice Chateau. The stop is for 1.5 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

The castle in Lednice is a very popular attraction, along with the park that is by it. In the mid 19th. century, the manor received a full makeover in the Gothic style as we can see it today. The surrounding huge landscape park is a great place to spend some walking and relaxing time, and don’t miss the chance to see a greenhouse. Lednice is also a great place to do wine tasting. The stop is for 1.5 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

Mikulov is spread on the last hills of the Pálava Mountains and surrounded with vineyards. The Baroque Chateau is now the seat of the Regional Museum, where you can find the most extensive local exposition on wine-growing and wine-making, including a unique giant wine barrel. Here you can also visit the castle’s library. The stop is for 1.5 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

The castle has a museum that has become popular for serving as a film scene. The castle can be seen in films like Das Miracle in 1912, and the Netflix series The Witcher in 2019, plus many dozens more productions. During the tour, you will be able to see the castle’s kitchen with a table around which the building was constructed. You will also visit the chapel, the knights hall and the prince’s room with medieval furniture. The stop is for 1.5 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
