Full description

This private tour takes you to the Dresden, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Germany. The city is rich in monuments of unusual architecture and history. At the end of the World War II., Dresden was damaged by bombing and it took several decades to rebuild the city. You'll visit the Frauenkirche, a symbol of the city's reconstruction, and the baroque Zwinger complex with its many rare exhibitions.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you. You choose your own pick-up date and time for a hassle-free door-to-door transfer. Our driver is friendly and available at all times. Itinerary

The Zwinger Palace was finished in the 18th. century as a venue for court festivities and now it’s considered one of Germany’s most lauded Baroque buildings, with ornamented pavilions and gardens, galleries and statues. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

The Frauenkirche is an original church completed in 1743. Then it was totally destroyed in 1945. The reconstruction began in 1994, using a lot of the preserved material and the work was completed in 2005. The new gilded cross was forged in London as a gesture of reconciliation, while the damaged former cross is to the right of the church’s new altar. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
