Full description

This private tour will take you to two interesting and historic sites. First you will visit the beautiful Sanssouci Palace with its luxurious interiors and beautiful baroque flower garden with a fountain and many marble statues. Then head to Leipzig to admire the monumental beauty of the Church of St. Thomas, where the famous composer Johann Sebastian Bach is buried.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you. You choose your own pick-up date and time for a hassle-free door-to-door transfer. Our driver is friendly and available at all times. Itinerary

This was Frederick the Great’s summer palace, built between 1745 and 1747. Get to know this palace, standing at only one storey tall (only the secondary wings have upper floors) and settled at the top of a terraced vineyard. On the inside is even more shocking, with carved marble and gilding, that provide comfort and conviviality. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

St. Thomas Church is famous because Johann Sebastian Bach was its cantor between 1723 and 1750. This Gothic church has been his burial place since 1950, and you can find his ledger stone on the floor of the choir and see a statue in his honor outside in front. You can take a tour of the Baroque tower on Sundays. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
