This private tour is a pleasant way to spend your time. It includes transportation from Lisbon to 2 sightseeing stops in Mafra, Obidos and back.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you.

1 to 3 people, we will provide a sedan or combi.
4 people, we will provide an MPV.
5 to 7 people, we will provide a VAN.

Itinerary

Our driver will meet you at your desired pick up time and place. Once you get in our private vehicle, we'll heat to Mafra for the first stop.

Start your visit with a tour of the Mafra National Palace (Palácio Nacional de Mafra), one of Portugal's most significant historical landmarks. Explore the grandiose palace rooms, including the stunning library, one of the most magnificent in Europe, with over 36,000 rare books. Then take some time to walk in the town and visit local shops.

Óbidos is known for its well-preserved historic center, surrounded by medieval walls. Wander through the narrow cobblestone streets of Óbidos, lined with whitewashed buildings adorned with colorful flowers. Visit landmarks such as Óbidos Castle, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, and the Church of Santa Maria.

After the 2 stops, start making your way back to Lisbon. Take your time and enjoy the scenic drive through the Portuguese countryside.
