This private tour is a pleasant way to spend your time. It includes transportation from Basel to a sightseeing stop in the Black forest and back.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you.

1 to 3 people, we will provide a sedan or combi.

Itinerary

Our private driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Basel and head on to the Black Forest.

Upon arrival in Triberg, visit the impressive Triberg Waterfalls, one of the highest waterfalls in Germany. Take a leisurely walk along the well-maintained trails to enjoy different vantage points of the falls.

After exploring the waterfalls, enjoy a traditional Black Forest lunch at a local restaurant. Try specialties like Black Forest ham, Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest cake), and hearty regional dishes. Then stroll through the charming town center of Triberg, known for its cuckoo clocks and traditional Black Forest souvenirs.

Drive to the Schwarzwälder Freilichtmuseum Vogtsbauernhof, an open-air museum showcasing Black Forest farmhouses and rural life. Explore the exhibits and demonstrations to get a glimpse of traditional Black Forest culture.

Meet our driver again and head back to Basel, relaxing and enjoying the scenery during the return journey.
