This private tour is a pleasant way to spend your time. It includes transportation from Basel to 2 sightseeing stops in Colmar, Strasbourg and back.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you.

1 to 3 people, we will provide a sedan or combi.
4 to 7 people, we will provide a VAN.

Itinerary

Our private driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Basel At your desired pick up time to start the journey to Colmar and Strasbourg, two beautiful cities in the Alsace region of France.

Upon arrival, start exploring Colmar's Old Town, which is compact and easily walkable. Highlights include the Little Venice district, Unterlinden Museum (home to the Isenheim Altarpiece), Saint Martin's Collegiate Church, and the historic Koïfhus (Customs House).

Drive to Strasbourg, the capital city of Alsace known for its beautiful Gothic cathedral, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and picturesque canals.

Start exploring Strasbourg's historic center, Grande Île, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Highlights include Strasbourg Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame), the Petite France district with its half-timbered houses, the Palais Rohan, and the Strasbourg Museum of Fine Arts.

Meet our driver once again and depart from Strasbourg in the late afternoon, enjoying the scenic drive back to Basel.
