Day 1: Turkestan - Sauran-Turkestan.
Arrival in Turkestan. Meet with your guide.
09:00 Transfer to the fortress of ancient city of Sauran (44 km from Turkestan).
10:00 Arrival to the ancient site Sauran. Visit the ruins of medieval town Sauran with well-preserved fortress wall, central plaza, remnants of theological university and mosque, residues of mint and first Kazakh treasury.
12:00 Return to Turkestan.
13:00 Sightseeing tour in Turkestan. Turkestan is an ancient capital city of Kazakhs- to make a pilgrimage to the walls of sacred city and to worship the ashes of Khoja Akhmed even now is the commitment for everyone. Complex of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in Turkestan city is a prominent monument of medieval architecture. The mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, is a wonderful complex of palaces and temples, a masterpiece of architecture, built in the period from 1385 to 1405. It is included to list of World Heritage of UNESCO.
Visit Aziret-Sultan historical - architectural complex, Khoja Ahmed Yasawi mausoleum, Turkestan town necropolis, oriental baths and underground mosque.
18:00 Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Turkestan- Shymkent.
09:00 Meet with your guide at the hotel lobby. Transfer to Otrar.
10:00 arrival, Visiting the ruins of ancient city Otrar. Arystan Bab and Otyrar. Arystan Baba mausoleum is the architectural monument of the XII-ХІV centuries, near the ruins of ancient Otyrar. You can see the temples, oldest buildings, boundless steppes.
11:30 Transfer to Shymkent.
14:00 arrival and short Shymkent City tour. Shymkent is the third largest city of Kazakhstan. Its history is around eight centuries old, but during this time it has become a large cultural, trading and industrial center in the south of the country. Shymkent City Tour opens up the most interesting that this beautiful city can boast with, and learn much of its history, you will visit regional museum, arboretum, park of Abay, old square.
17.00 Transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: Shymkent-Zhabagly-Aksu Zhabagly Nature Reserve.
Aksu-Zhabagly nature reserve is the oldest and most famous nature reserve in Central Asia. In 2016 the nature reserve was included in the UNESCO list of the World Biosphere Reserves.
08:00 Meet with your guide at the hotel lobby. Transfer to Zhabagly village (90 km).
09:30 Arrival to Zhabagly village, check in, accommodation in the guest house. Short rest.
10:30 Excursion in the vicinities of the Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve. Hiking to the gorge and waterfall Kishi-Kayndy. The whole route in one direction is about 7 km one way, and at the end of the trekking route you will reach Kishi-Kaindy waterfall.
16:00. Arrival to the guest house (free time).
Day 4: Aksu-Zhabagly nature reserve - Shymkent.
09:00 Transfer to the canyon of Aksu River.
10:00 Arrival to the canyon. In the morning after breakfast our guide will drive you to Aksu canyon. You will see one of the deepest canyon in Central Asia. Observation predatory birds, the snake-eagle, the eagle-dwarf, the mound, the vulture, the sip, the griffon and others. Walking tour along the path of the northern slope of the canyon.
13:00 Free time.
16:30 Excursion in the "Visit Center" of the Aksu-Zhabagly natural reserve.
18:00 Transfer to Shymkent. Arrival.
Highlights: Turkestan, Shymkent, canyon of Aksu River, Zhabagly village.
Duration: 4 days and 3 nights. Departure: daily. Includes: pick-up in Turkestan and drop-off in Shymkent, transportation, entrance fees, private tour guide, water. Optional: meals and accommodation (guest house 20-50 USD per person with 3 times meal), airport meetings and transfers. Price is indicated per a group of 1 - 6 people.

A 60% refund for cancellations made later than at least 15 days in advance of the start date of experience. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund. In case of no-show the customer will receive no refund.
