Full description

Explore the renowned Kruje Castle and immerse yourself in the charm of the medieval bazaar, where tradition and culture come alive. Kruje, often referred to as the "Adriatic Sea’s Balcony" due to its impressive elevation of approximately 1,000 meters above sea level, is a town rich in heritage. It served as the heart of Albanian resistance against the Ottomans in the 15th century, led by the national hero Gjergj Kastrioti "Skanderbeg." During your visit, discover the unique Skanderbeg Museum housed within the restored castle, as well as the Ethnographical Museum, which offers insights into the region’s cultural legacy. The cobblestone street leading to the castle is designed in the style of a traditional Turkish bazaar. This tour provides an enriching cultural experience, combining history, architecture, and local traditions in one unforgettable day.
