The Blue Eye National Park is one of Albania’s most captivating natural attractions. Located near the small village of Muzinë, along the national road connecting Delvinë and Gjirokastër, this magical spot has become a must see destination for travelers exploring the region.

What makes the Blue Eye so remarkable is its main spring, a crystal clear water source that bursts out from the depths of the Mali i Gjërë mountain. Among the 18 springs that flow from this mountain range, the Blue Eye is the largest and certainly the most intriguing. Its oval shape resembles a human eye, with a deep dark center appearing to emerge from underground and surrounded by vibrant shades of blue and turquoise.

The spring’s depth reaches up to 50 meters, giving it that mesmerizing deep blue color that almost seems unreal. Dense and lush vegetation surrounds the area, creating a refreshing and peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing walks or simply enjoying the natural sounds.
