Enjoy a private day trip from Tangier to the charming coastal town of Asilah, travelling in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle with your professional driver and licensed local guide included throughout the experience.

After pickup from your hotel, port, or agreed meeting point in Tangier, travel along the Atlantic coastal road with scenic ocean views. Depending on timing, short photo stops can be made along the coastline.

Upon arrival in Asilah, your guide will lead a walking tour inside the Old Medina. Discover the whitewashed streets, blue details, street art murals, artisan shops, Portuguese fortifications, and ocean viewpoints. Your guide will share the history of Asilah, its cultural heritage, and its famous international art festival.

After the guided visit, enjoy free time to have lunch, relax in a seaside café, or continue exploring the medina at your own pace.

At the end of the visit, return comfortably to Tangier with drop-off at your hotel, port, or agreed location.

Itinerary

Pick-up & Departure from Tangier. Your driver and licensed local guide meet you at your hotel, port, or agreed meeting point in Tangier. Short briefing about the day, route, and historical context of the region. Departure toward the Atlantic coastal road.

Atlantic Coast Scenic Drive & Cap Spartel Stop. Drive along the western coastline with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Stop at Cap Spartel where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. Short visit for photos and explanation from your guide about the geographic and historical importance of the area.

Optional Stop – Hercules Caves or Coastal Photo Point. Quick visit to Hercules Caves or alternative scenic coastal viewpoint depending on timing and traffic. Guide explains local legends, Phoenician history, and the strategic importance of the Tangier coastline.

Arrival in Asilah – Guided Medina Walking Tour. Arrival in Asilah and guided walk inside the Old Medina. Explore white and blue streets, murals, local artisan shops, Portuguese ramparts, and ocean viewpoints. Guide shares history of Asilah, art festival culture, and local traditions.

Free Time in Asilah (Lunch / Coffee / Shopping). Free time to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, relax in a café near the ocean, or explore the medina independently. Guide can recommend restaurants or local specialties

Return to Tangier. Departure from Asilah back to Tangier via highway or coastal road depending on traffic and timing. Drop-off at hotel, port, or agreed location.
