Heraklion is the dynamic administrative center of Crete with numerous shops, shopping centers and historical monuments.

First stop will be the famous and unique Cretaquarium, home to many of the Mediterranean creatures. You will have a unique opportunity to see different types of fish, octopuses, turtles and sharks, which are common in the Mediterranean Sea.
If you do not want to go to the Aquarium, then you can spend time on the sandy beach, swimming in the sea or enjoy aromatic coffee or ice cream in the nearest café.
After the aquarium, we will visit a noisy, colorful and authentic Saturday street market. There you can find out what the locals sell and buy. As well, you can buy fresh fruits and inexpensive gifts and souvenirs.
And finally, we go to Heraklion. We will have enough time for a walk, to visit the Archaeological Museum, or to have lunch in one of the local taverns. Those who want to go shopping will find well-known European brands.
There are many historical monuments in Heraklion, such as the Lion Fountain, the Cathedral of St. Titus, the Loggia and many other interesting places.
