Enjoy a pickup from the Port of Praia and start the day with this exciting tour to discover the hidden sites of Santiago Island. Get off your cruise ship and walk for 2 minutes until you reach the only exit from the small Port of Praia.

Meet your expert guide who will be waiting for you with your name on a sign board, and start your discovery driving through the mountains with stops for photos of beautiful scenery in the villages of São Domingos, São Lourenço dos Órgãos, Assomada and Serra Malagueta Natural Park. Be dazzled by incredible views from 1000 meters (3,280 feet) above sea level, have a look at some endemic species before you arrive at the former Concentration Camp of Chão Bom, the current Museum of Resistance. Here, learn about the history of the former prisoners who fought against the Salazar regime and take a walking tour of the monuments. After that, stop for a delicious lunch in Tarrafal, take a walk on the shore of Santiago's most beautiful beach before a scenic drive back through Calheta and Santa Cruz. On the way, enjoy a photo stop at the Valley of 1000 Palms in Pedra Badejo, cross plantations and beautiful volcanic landscapes before being dropped off at the Port of Praia.

Serra Malagueta Natural Park Photo Stop.
