Ready to experience the Sami culture? Join us on an exciting journey to Lavangsdalen, just a 30-minute bus ride from Tromsø. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by a friendly Sami family who will share fascinating stories about their rich culture, traditions, and history. 

During your visit, you will have the chance to feed reindeer and try throwing lasso on reindeer antlers (if there is enough time) just like the Sami do when gathering their reindeer. You will also enjoy light snacks and warm beverages in a cosy cabin while listening to Sami stories. 

By the end don’t miss out on the chance to buy real Sami handmade products.  Each item is unique and perfect as a gift or a special souvenir from your trip.

This tour is ideal for families, making it a fun and educational experience for kids aged 6 and up. With our small group size, you will enjoy a personal and intimate experience with your guides and fellow travelers. 

Please note that this tour does not include sledding.

DEPARTURE AT 09:45. 09:30: Meet up outside of the Magic Ice Bar. 09:45: Bus departs. 10:15: Arrival at the Reindeer Camp. 12:30: Departure back to Tromsø. 13:00: Arrival in Tromsø (outside of the Magic Ice Bar)

DEPARTURE AT 11:45. 11:30: Meet up outside of the Magic Ice Bar. 11:45: Bus departs. 12:15: Arrival at the Reindeer Camp. 15:00: Departure back to Tromsø. 15:30: Arrival in Tromsø (outside of the Magic Ice Bar)
