Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to Egypt!. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you with the arrival procedures and airport formalities. Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum. Day 3: Fly to Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor.Upon arrival, begin your Luxor sightseeing with a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple Complex. Explore its enormous columns, grand gateways, ancient statues, and sacred lake while learning about its importance in ancient Egyptian history.Continue to Luxor Temple, a magnificent monument built and expanded by rulers including Amenhotep III and Ramses II. The temple takes on a magical atmosphere when illuminated in the evening.After sightseeing, board your Nile cruise and settle into your cabin before enjoying lunch on board.Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and taking in the scenery along the Nile. Day 4: Luxor West Bank – Valley of the Kings. Enjoy breakfast on board before heading to Luxor’s West Bank to discover some of the area’s most remarkable ancient sites.Visit the famous Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of numerous Egyptian pharaohs and the location where the tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered.Next, explore the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, built in honor of the powerful female ruler and known for its distinctive terraces and impressive architecture.Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which have watched over the West Bank for thousands of years.Return to the cruise for lunch and enjoy some free time to rest.In the evening, take part in a traditional Galabeya Party featuring Egyptian-style entertainment and the opportunity to experience traditional local clothing.Overnight on Nile Cruise
Day 5: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples. After breakfast, continue your Nile journey toward Edfu.Disembark to visit the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples from ancient Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, the temple is famous for its massive entrance, detailed inscriptions, and impressive halls.Return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Kom Ombo.Here, explore the unusual double temple dedicated to two gods, Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus. Day 6: Aswan – High Dam, Philae Temple & Unfinished Obelisk. After breakfast, begin your Aswan sightseeing tour with a visit to the Aswan High Dam. Learn about its importance in controlling the Nile and generating electricity for Egypt.Continue by boat to Agilkia Island, where you will visit the beautiful Philae Temple. Dedicated mainly to the goddess Isis, the temple complex was carefully relocated to its present location to protect it from the waters created by the construction of the High Dam.Your final stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk, an enormous ancient monument that was left in the quarry after a crack appeared during its construction.Return to the cruise for lunch and spend the remainder of the day relaxing on board while enjoying the peaceful views of the Nile.Overnight on Nile Cruise
Day 7: Abu Simbel – Flight Back to Cairo. Rise early and depart for one of Egypt’s most spectacular ancient sites, the Abu Simbel Temples.Explore the magnificent temples built by Ramses II and admire the enormous statues carved into the rock at the entrance. Inside, discover beautifully decorated chambers covered with ancient reliefs and inscriptions.The temples were moved to their current location as part of a major preservation project to save them from the rising waters following the construction of the Aswan High Dam.After completing your visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo.Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for your last evening in Egypt.Overnight in Cairo
