The Giza Plateau is a worldwide famous plateau on the outskirts of Cairo. It has some of the most impressive ancient monuments in the world, including the most favored touristic destinations - the pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Egyptian royal mortuary complex, and sacred structures. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest monument of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the only one that remains standing to this date. It is popular among travelers all across the globe and among Egyptians, too — they visit their wonders on special occasions and after holy days. The Great Sphinx at Giza is one of the planet's most mysterious and mysterious monolithic statues. All the other ancient wonders of the world have been lost to time: the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple of Artemis, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. But Egyptian sacred monuments impress not only with their enchantment but their ability to gather people around them across time.
First, we'll visit the glorious Giza Plateau and take a camel ride through the ancient ruins and monuments; then, we'll stop by the Sphinx and take photos of the magnificent Pyramids of Giza.
