The Basilica of the Holy Trinity is a small basilica located on the site of Cova da Iria, in the parish and city of Fatima. The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary (called the Basilica of the Rosary) is a basilica uniting the Sanctuary of Fatima, located in Cova da Iria, in Fatima, in the municipality of Ourén, Portugal.

The chapel in the heart of the current Sanctuary of Fatima was built by people in 1919 at the request of Our Lady during one of the apparitions. The first mass was celebrated here in 1921.

The image of the Mother of God marks the place of the holm oak, where the little shepherds had apparitions. The great holm oak vanished, branch by branch, faithful. Little shepherds came here to pray the Rosary, accompanied by other believers. The old Cruz Alta, 27 meters high, was built to commemorate the end of the 1950/1951 Holy Year and was located behind the prayer hall, where today the church of Santissima Trindade is located. It was donated to the Sanctuary of Cristo Rei in Almada.

The current High Cross, erected on August 29, 2007, belongs to the artist Robert Shad and is 34 meters high. Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitoria, better known as the Monastery of Batalha, also known as the "Templo da Patria". Undoubtedly the most popular beach on the west coast. Nazare is one of the most traditional fishing villages, where you can still find women dressed in traditional seven-skirt costumes tending the fish, which are lined up on stilts to dry in the sun. . On the beach, fully integrated into the urban area and surrounded by houses along the waterfront, traditional canvas tents with bright stripes have been preserved. Farol da Nazaré is a great place for surfers. This is the highest point for those who visit the region, which in itself offers breathtaking views of the beaches and Praia do Norte in particular (where the WSL BIG WAVES championship takes place). You will be able to appreciate the amazing power of the giant waves of Praia do Norte.

A few miles north of Lisbon is Óbidos, a small picturesque town surrounded by medieval walls. Behind them lies a labyrinth of cobbled streets and blue and yellow painted houses. For some time, Obidos was the home of the Portuguese queens, which is why there are so many churches clustered together. Today it is a popular tourist destination, known for its medieval market and the delicious ginjinha cherry liqueur served in every bar in the city. You can easily explore Obidos in one day.
