The tour usually starts half an hour before sunset. Replace your evening at home in front of the TV with a snowshoe hike beneath the stars up on the ridges of Hautacam, in the International Dark Sky Reserve.
Let yourself be surprised by the immensity of the universe, contemplate the lights in the villages down in the valley below. Find out about the main constellations, or allow the full moon to light your way beneath the Milky Way.
Remember that two thirds of animals are nocturnal, so there is a good chance that you might see something out there! You will begin the tour with the spectacular sunset before using your snowshoes to hike up onto the ridgeline. The start time depends on the exact time of year.
