Itinerary:
Day One: Amman-Petra
Pickup from Airport or Amman to Petra. Located 225 kilometers from Amman, Petra is one of Jordans greatest treasures. It is the legacy of the Nabatean, a UNESCO World Heritage, & a World Wonder. Mesmerizing creation begins with a walk throw a long, narrow pathway, known as Al-Siq. It is of striking beauty & serves as the main entrance to the main city of Petra. As you approach the end of Al Siq, your eyes lay on the Treasury Al-Khazneh; one of the most elegant remains of antiquity entirely carved deep into the rocks of one side of the mountain, and concealed in a high-walled ellipse of a valley. Almost 40 meters high, it is intricately decorated with Corinthian capitals, friezes, and figures. Have some time to have lunch in Petra before seeing other monuments such as the Monastery, the Altar of Sacrifice, the St of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and the Roman Theater.
Day Two: Petra-Wadi Rum
The next day, heading towards Wadi Rum, where the movies: The Martian, Lawrence of Arabia, Theeb and many others were filmed. A journey to this marvel is a journey to another world; vast, silent and peaceful desert landscape. Unique and extraordinary mountains rise from the pink desert sand, which separate one mass from another. It is a given that you will calm your spirit and de-clutter your thoughts. Experience the extraordinary beauty of Wadi Rum as you hike and trundle through the narrow gorges and desert plains past the natural rock bridges and towers. Transfer into a jeep safari with a local Bedouin driver. You may also do a camel ride across the desert (at your own expense). enjoy drinking Arabic tea or coffee as you mingle with the locals, enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset across the silky desert plains. Later at night, gaze at the starlit sky & enjoy the picturesque view of the silky sand in a cozy relaxation area around the tents.
Day Three: Wadi Rum Dead Sea Amman or Airport
Next day head to the Dead Sea. Rejuvenate your body and replenish your soul. Standing at around 400m below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earths surface. Leave all your worries behind with the services in the resort, including pools, restaurants, bars, a play area, a gym, and a spa. Take a stroll along the shore, feel the prickles of salt as you swim, effortlessly float on the mineral-rich water, take in the mesmerizing views, and cover yourself in the natural beneficial mud. At the end of the journey, visit a local shop to buy beauty and skin-care products made from local mud, salt, and minerals. Then, relax during the return trip to Amman
