As we sail away from Vlychada Marina and along the coast, we come to Red Beach in Akrotiri, which is well-known for its unusual red colour due to the volcanic mineral-rich soil. We then set sail towards White Beach. Next, we set sail towards Mesa Pigadia, where we will have a swim break. Towels and snorkelling equipment are available for every visitor. Later, for a singular perspective of the entire bay, we pass the Lighthouse and enter the Caldera. We will cruise right up to the volcanic crater and have a close-up look at it. We will be visiting the Hot Springs next. Here, in the sulphurous waters that serve as a natural spa, is where we have our second swim break.
