This tour is not recommended for a wheelchair user or those with walking difficulties. If the guide deems it appropriate, the order of the visits may change. At the end of tour, drop off at Amalfi city center. Departure: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from May 01 till October 31.

Meet your local guide for the day and board on the coach to depart to Pompeii, passing the beautiful towns along the Amalfi Drive. Upon arrival, guided visit of the ruins (2 hrs and ½ approx.). In Pompeii you'll have the chance to explore one of Europe's most compelling excavation sites. This Roman city was lost for 1700 years, partially destroyed and buried under ash and pumice after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll have a unique insight into ancient city life.

After an optional lunch depart for Mount Vesuvius. The bus takes you 1000 meters up the volcano, then you'll be escorted by a guide to the summit.

From here enjoy views over the southern part of the volcano and, during days with good visibility, the entire gulf of Naples.

On the journey back, visit one of the most prestigious cameo and coral factories in the region to see the production of typical Italian carvings.
