This sightseeing walking tour can be a great way to discover the city and learn about its rich history and culture. See Venice differently than you might if you were following a map! Your guide will take you to hidden corners of the city and show you things you might not have discovered on your own.
We will begin by viewing the Doge's Palace, admiring its splendor both from the outside and the inside.
You will visit the illustrious "chambers of power" from which Venice once ruled the city and its many republics and colonies (in the Mediterranean Sea and Northern Italy). See a famous painting in each room and learn its backstory. Following that, you will also cross the infamous Bridge of Sighs. Remember to make a wish! At the end of our fabulous trip, you will visit St. Mark's Basilica and relish the 8500 square meters of mosaics that decorate the interior.
